How dark can I legally go in North Carolina?
North Carolina generally allows 35% VLT (visible light transmission) on the windows of most passenger vehicles, with some exceptions for certain vehicle types and medical exemptions. We'll help you pick a shade that's legal and looks right.
How long does window tinting take?
Most vehicles are finished the same day. Timing depends on the vehicle and how many windows you're doing — we'll give you an estimate when you book.
How do I care for new tint?
Leave the windows rolled up for a few days while the film cures, and clean with a soft cloth and an ammonia-free glass cleaner. Slight haziness or small water pockets are normal at first and clear as the film dries.
Can you remove old, bubbling, or purple tint?
Yes. We remove failed film and adhesive without damaging defroster lines, then the glass is ready for new tint the same visit.
Do you tint homes and businesses?
